Diversion

Professional salon hair products are typically only to be distributed to and by professional hair salons. However, lately, I am sure many of you have seen some of your favorite brands at drug-stores and other well known chain-retailers, such as Walmart, London drugs, and otherwise.

Product Diversion has become a big issue in the industry. Take a look at some of these products by Redken, Bumble & Bumble, Paul Mitchell, TIGI, Joico, etc. Even on the products themselves, in bold lettering, it exclaims "Only Sold In Professional Salons".

So what is the big deal?

These products you find in most chain-stores may or may not even be real, and could have been diluted, contaminated, or otherwise. There have even been instances where bacteria was found in
these diverted products that could be damaging to your health. Furthermore, alot of these products actually cost MORE than they would in regular salons.

It may be tempting, and even more convenient, to purchase these products at a local retailer, but there is no guarantee to the product's validity. The packaging itself is real, but the contents may be something entirely different.

So do yourself a favor, and buy professional products ONLY fro
m a professional or salon. Doing so will guarantee that your purchase is directly from the manufacturer, distributed properly, and you can save yourself the hassle of having damaging or contaminated products in your hair!
